Hello Everyone,
So sorry I didn't leave a new post in February and here we are half way through March already! I got home from Florida and hit the ground running.
The weather while I was there was a bit cool for Florida weather. There were even a few 20 degree nights with freeze warnings! Not what I hoping for but it was a good trip.
As I said, here we are already half way through March! Winter keeps sputtering out a few snowflakes on us not wanting to leave but the temperatures are heading in the upward direction. My daffodils are even coming up! Before you know it we will be planting our summer flower beds with all the wonderful bright colors of summer! It is great inspiration for new quilting projects!
This month at our meeting we will have Carol Grant from Decatur, MI. She is a member of the Kalamazoo Log Cabin Quilt Club. She will be sharing with us her technique for making wall hangings using fabric "confetti". Sounds pretty interesting!
For those that have not been able to make it on a regular basis lately, we have a new feature on the second Monday of each month. We have Sit & Sew at the Senior Center from 1-4 pm. You can bring your own project and just enjoy the company while getting some work done. The next Sit & Sew is Monday, April 9th.
See you all on the 26th!!
